Pampshade is made in Japan by artist and baker Yukiko Morita from a freshly baked loaf, each one is hollowed out by hand to accommodate a warm light LED bulb. Yukiko came up with the idea while working in a bakery as a means of reducing waste — unsold loaves are hollowed out as lamps, and the team uses the centers for other recipes!
- Materials: Bread flour, cake flour, salt, yeast, LED lights, battery
- Dimensions: Approximately 3–4 inches in diameter and 5 inches in length. Because each Pampshade is made from real unsold breads, there will be natural variations in color, size, and shape.
- Notes: AA battery x 1 needed (not included)
While single items do not come in a CETTE gift box, they will arrive thoughtfully wrapped.
